maternal relationship ENTRY 3 DRAFT 2

In the article written by Nicodemus, he presented the idea that the relationship the child have with their mother affects their behavior. If a male have a bad relationship with his mother in their childhood, it will mostly be brought up to their adult life. they will tend to be more violent towards their mate. I disagree with that idea. seeing from my own eyes, i have seen a few guys who been brought up with verbal abuse from their mother. these guys didn't seem to hold any anger or grudges towards female, rather they still respected their mother and treated them like how a child suppose to treat their mother. i guess everyone is different, some people knows what's right and what's wrong to do. but i don't think that having a bad relationship with your mother as a child will create a violent person. male with their hormones and everything will tend to be more aggressive, but some doesn't know quite well how to control it.

culture also play a role in how a person should act. Male are expected to be the person in charge or in control, they gain respect through power and strength.

  1. I think you can talk about how some people that come from "good" homes are violent and have aggression. If you found that in your research or can find that information. Also I would like it if you could elaborate about the guys that you know that grew up with verbal abuse from their mother. How does culture tie in? Is it the opposition from the perspective that you disagree with? I am not sure how that fits in with your topic.

  2. I like how you started out with an idea presented by one of your sources. It set the tone and gave a sense of information of what is coming. I also like how you derived relationships from a young age whether it be family or otherwise, and connected it to a pending abusive relationship.
Involving specific details, examples, or opinions will give the writing a little more depth.
